Glad®: Win a Virtual Visa Card with Glad®

The Clorox Company is an American global manufacturer and marketer of consumer and professional products, such as household goods, cleaning products, and pet care. Their brands include Pine-Sol, Brita, Burt’s Bees, and Glad. Clorox Canada partnered with 3 tier logic to launch their national ‘Glad 2018’ gift with purchase program, exclusive to customers in Canada and Glad Waste products.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a microsite for Clorox’s ‘Glad 2018’ gift with purchase promotion, leveraging the following modules:

  • Contests and Promotions

  • Purchase Receipt Validation

  • Gift Cards & Rewards

  • Data Capture & Analytics

When consumers purchase two qualifying Glad Waste products in a single transaction from participating retailers, they are eligible to receive a $5 digital Visa card. Through the Purchase Receipt Validation technology on PLATFORM³, customers can validate their purchase by registering and uploading a picture of their receipt to the promotion microsite. Once their purchase has been validated, customers receive an email with their digital gift card and instructions on how to redeem it. Consumers were allowed to submit up to two receipts to receive a maximum of two digital rewards. 3 tier logic procured and fulfilled the gift cards from its digital rewards catalog.

Through PLATFORM³, Clorox was able to gain valuable insights into their consumers’ purchasing behavior. The Data Capture & Analytics module provides meaningful information about users’ microsite activity for the promotion duration. Clorox is able to use this data to make well-informed decisions for future marketing campaigns and continue driving sales and customer loyalty.
